Good morning! I have been trying to figure things out in my head and get things straight, and remove all raw emotion and decipher decisions made for the best before i had written a blog either out of tears, anger or any other emotion hindering my ability to think clearly and write what i really want to. Today is the second morning I have awoke without wolfie. We had decided to search for a family who will give him the proper attention, make sure they know all of his quirks and hopefully they have more success in the training department. we had 3 families go through the process, but for certain reasons they werent the right owners. the right ones came along wednesday night. 3 young kids, a house with a LARGE yard, a daddy that doesnt work a lot so he will be wolfies buddy. I felt confident and comfortable, and so did the rest of our family. and wolfie didnt even blink an eye. But its really hard without him here. There is no sugar coating. I loved him, I still love him. I miss him horribly, but i still remain firm in believing that it was for the best. Alot of things he has done i havent wrote about because it would make people think differently of him. He was a horrible dog, but a lovable best friend. I know i will be judged harsh by alot of you, and that is okay. But to be honest, you all have no idea what wolfie was and is capable of and nor did you have to deal with it. But just know that i have NEVER given up on any of my animals and nor have I this time. He may not be with US, but i didnt just take him somewhere to rot. i gave him a nice new home, with lots of love, possibly more love than i could have given him. I feel confident with our decision.
I couldnt keep buying things to replace the one he decided to chew. Im not rich. I cant fix everything he broke, and i cant mend any lines he's crossed, all i can do is what i did. Im not going to sit on this blog and write bad things and try to make you all understand. But what i can do is write this to fix my heart and just hope you get it, and if you dont please keep all mean comments to yourself. Trust me, i've called myself some pretty harsh words over this, so im sure whatever you have floating around in your mind right now, ive said, to myself. Ive beat myself up. But i couldnt take it anymore. I had to fix it.
I miss not having him here. I miss him not sleeping on the floor next to my bed. I miss calling him to come to bed with me, i miss having that security while brian is at work. I miss his licks and cuddles. But i dont miss the crying sladen does for a chewed hot wheel. i dont miss the screaming sis does when he would step on her head, daily. i dont miss the coming home to sladens pool chewed to shreds in the back yard, or my lawn furniture chewed up, or a grill brush, or a grill lighter, or bike tires, bike seats, anything he could get to. We would put everything in the storage shed that he could "chew" but you can clean up a pool, and who would think he would chew a pool? I can't pull in the driveway thinking "what else do i have to clean up on top of taking care of the needs of the kids". I cant constantly watch where his feet are while he is riled up, and if sis is under him then to bad. With brian being away for so long and my focus being on the kids and my sanity, i just couldnt have him here. along with the daily reminders of "your going back to the center" when he would do something wrong (slade). Brian constantly telling me that we need to get rid of him. I have never been raised to give up. and i have never given up. except this. I have unconditional love for animals. you know what? im going to stop, because i dont think i need to keep convincing anyone. if you know me enough, you know how hard this is, and how mad i am at myself. you will understand if you truely know me. I just wanted to get this all out on the table.
Wolfie is greatly missed. But it was for the best!
That is all i have for right now. I have more topics to talk about but my brain is fried and my heart is hurting. i have a giant lump in my throat and i refuse to cry while my kids are awake. I loved that dog, and i always will. It was just time to do what was best.

Happy Trails
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great Easter! Our Easter wasn't spent in traditional ways, but it was very relaxing and very satisfying. We had Family Easter while in MI, so the "bunny" had already visited, so on actual Easter we didn't do baskets and egg hunts, didn't want to confuse the little man!
We just got back from our vacation on Saturday Afternoon. What a great Vacation that was. It felt so good. Normally our visits home are really rushed, really busy and very overwhelming. I didn't feel that this time. It just went smoothly, no wild ride. Just the way I like it! We spent a Week in MI, and 2 Days in KY. We did it leisurely and seen things and people that we wanted to, but not everyone of course. While in MI we had our family easter, and my sister and her little family joined in and it was awesome. Great food and great fun, it was very much needed! we moved our stuff to the garage of our new place, I also got to make it to my cousin's baby shower and seen the family, boy was that ever nice! hearing peoples giggles that i enjoy is the greatest noise ever! We took sladen to Great Wolf Lodge while in MI, and we met my friend stephanie and her family there. It was a great 2 day get away, AND we got to see 6 inches of snow! ha! Not too much else went on during vacation in MI other than relaxing and soaking up the time I have with MY LITTLE family together. Sladen spent his first night away from us, he asked to do it, and we let him. I was a wreck but he was great. When we picked him up the next morning he was sitting at the table with grandma eating chicken and fries for breakfast, I'd say he had a great time! haha! After we were done in MI we headed our way for KY. Brian's stepdad & family along with his sister live there. But before we made it to their house, we stopped in at Jungle Jims gigantic grocery store! I was in heaven! they have so much to choose from and its based on "around the world". it took us a long time to get through and we didnt even get to look at everything. It's really unexplainable. I was in awe and a smile the whole time. The cheese selection was absolutely incredible. They had all types of meats, and international foods. AWESOME is what it was! Once we were done there, we got stopped in bumper to bumper Cincinnati traffic! but, we finally made it to Dan & Tami's, and got a very warm welcome. While there we went to an egg hunt at Carly's school, went to the movie tavern and saw RIO....very cute! we also had encountered tornado's, and dan's awesome cooking! While at Jungle Jims brian bought some alligator meat.....Dan cooked it up, and it was quite tasty. Mind over matter on that one though, the flavor was good, but knowing i was eating alligator, turned my stomach! So all in all our vacation was really great and very relaxing!
While on vacation when slade spent the night away, he didn't have his "bank", but he slept the whole night, so we took it upon ourselves to take this chance to make his "bank" go away forever. He is still without it, and he doesnt ask about it very much anymore. He does tell everyone that the easter bunny stole his bank, but he truely is doing good without it. He looks like such a big boy without carrying it around like lynis! Since he hasnt had his bank, i havent seen him suck on his thumb either. both of which were just nap and night time traits. Its going on 7 days, an entire week without it. Cold turkey ...hahaha!!
Sis broke her 2 front teeth through the surface of her gums, so that is 6 teeth so far! she is also breaking a bottom tooth through, soon enough she'll have a mouth full! She is getting really active and mobile. She is now 9 months old! YEESH! She's been crawling for a while now, but she is starting to cruise along furniture, and yesterday she stood alone for her first second....it was a wobbly second, but it was still a second! She added "momma" into her vocabulary, along with alot of other baby words that we just cant quite figure out yet. She's a quirky one, but she is awesome.
I couldn't ask for more amazing children if i wanted too. and they proved that to me in several ways during our vacation. They are so flexible, and so mild mannered that it makes everything easy. They just go with the flow and sit in the car for hours on end, just giggling and playing. Now don't get me wrong, the still fizzle out and reach their breaking point, but they hang in there! They are TROOPERS!
That is all for now, i can't think of anything else to type, plus sis is waking up from her nap! I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week, and I will be checking in again soon!

Now on to the NEXT!
Today is the beginning of a crazy week!! I have to finish packing up the half of the house that we will be moving to michigan, and the other half that will be going to stay here in Virginia Beach at the storage shed! In the meanwhile, we only have 3 more weeks with daddy! Trying to soak up every minute of that, while trying to pack up our life, yet once again, is pretty difficult. My mind is going crazy with what box is going where and who's going to sleep on what and where, its just crazy! Yes i did it to myself, i understand this, but is it crazy and difficult still.....um yes! so i recall i said something like "once we get to virginia Beach i am never going to pack our stuff again!! the navy movers will do it!!" well.....i was lying. I now have to move myself 3 more times until the navy movers actually move us for the last time! And after those 3 times we will be up to a grand total of 10 moving times in a little over 4 years! wow! The boys just went to go pick up our UHaul trailer, so we can fill it and be ready for our trek to michigan in the coming days!
This is going to be best for my family, and it is going to make the time away from the husband go by faster! Sladen and I were online searching fun things to do to keep us busy this summer....with sis of course, but she was far too young to "plan" our summer with us, so she just gets to tag along! We having camping planned, the river roar planned, a trip to snoopy land aka cedar point planned, lots of days at the beach and playgrounds of course, nannie and papa days, and so much more! he was so excited to "help" me plan that he was beside himself with giggles and smiles just planning our next moves! He says "we are going to do this all while daddy is hard at work on his long deployment.....i sure will miss him!" We have been doing our best to prepare and teach him about what lies ahead in the months to come. Its not something thats easy, nor programmed in our heads on the "proper way" to do this. We are clueless as to what to say next, but just speak with our heart and pray that he understands. And i think he understands way better than we ever thought he would. He makes us read him "over there" every night before bed, we talk often about the holidays, and events that daddy will miss during the time he will be gone, we took a tour of daddy's ship so he gets a better understanding of where daddy will be. He was in amazement and excitement on the ship, i on the other hand was a ball of emotions and a claustrophobic mess! HOLY COW! i was lost, confused, and it was too tight of spaces in those tiny hall ways, that stuff is for the birds, glad im not the one who will be confined to that "tin can". Slade is really excited to move to Michigan! I was taking his space stickers down out of his room a couple of days ago and he says to me "mommy, what are you doing with my space stickers?" " I have to take them down so we can move to michigan. " " Oh, i like michigan, nan and papa and scratching grandma are there". I just smiled at him. He is amazing and he just goes with the flow. Couldn't ask for a better child. So we are counting down the days till our visit. Then we will count down the days until our move.
Kendal is starting to eat lots of "table" food. She eats shredded cheese, french fries, pieces of bread, pretty much anything she can get her hands on! she is pushing away the baby food and wanting more of the yummy food! Textures are a big thing to her, just like slade! I think im just going to be stuck with a house full of picky eaters! Which is no fun at all!
I really dont have a whole lot to report about, other than us being crazy busy at filling boxes and getting ready for the next stage in our life. So i hope everyone has a wonderful week, we will be seeing you all sooooo very soon! I will leave you with a picture of our new house. I have yet to see it in person, dont really know the exact location of it, but you cant look a gift horse in the mouth and I am sure it is going to be perfect!

Well Good morning!
Today is the first day in a row of 6 that my kids act and seem 100 percent back to normal! And I can't tell you how happy that Makes me! Sickness is horrible, especially watching your kids go through it. So lethargic, so sad looking, so hot from fevers that they are just radiating heat, its just horrible. The kids caught some Viral something or another, and not only did they suffer from the vomiting, the poops, fever, chills and all that nonsense, they also have sores throughout their mouths and down their throats, making it virtually impossible for them to eat anything due to the pain and discomfort of the "spots" (slades terminology). BUT Slade is going on 4 days of the "spots" and he is starting to eat "crunchy" foods, and sis is going on 3 days, and finally drank a full bottle without tylenol to dull the pain, thats just what i wanted to wake up to this morning, and I am sooooo thankful!! People make fun of me for having my sanitizer wipes and my hand sanitizer in my purse, in my truck, in my coat pockets, EVERYWHERE, and we dont go around sick kids, and I avoid places like the "bounce house"..... BUT slade hasnt been sick since he was a year and a half old! So he went a year and a half without a flu, and only 2 colds! Now thats pretty darn good!
So this week has been nonstop of sanitizing the house, wiping the toys down everytime they are done playing, nonstop laundry......And i bleached a whole tote of all slades hotwheels and non battery toys. so he is chomping at the bit to get those back! but only when ALL the germs are out of sis's mouth. Since she drools like a saint bernard and puts everything in her mouth, i'd rather be safe than sorry. SO they have the train table full of toys, and that's it, until germs are deceased! Probably in the next day or 2 they will get all their toys back. The doctor said she would wait 5 days, so we are going on days 3 and 4 right now. Enough of sick talk! On to the next subject!!
Brian got rear ended this week, in the midst of my hell week, of course this would happen! you have got to LOVE murphy (murphy's law)!! That poor cavalier has been through hell and back. One strong car. We still love it, how could you not? ITs such a good, reliable car, but its cursed, that i do believe! Bri is okay, just has a stiff neck, and the car is in the shop today, getting fixed! And guess what he got for a Rental Car?
Sissy has had a big week this week! Not only was she sick, but she has learned how to pull herself up, and she is teaching herself how to climb stairs! She also says momma (only 1 time but, she said it!) now and this morning she told me bubba! she is growing so big! when i took her to the doctor this week she weighed 23 pounds! GEESH! No new teeth yet, but she is sleeping without wedges in her crib now, next we just have to ween her from her woombie and we will be set!
Slade is doing good! he's full throttle today, probably not letting off the gas until naptime! I love to see him growing. He's so independent and such a free spirit! He planted seeds last week, dill to be exact. He's been watering them and they are now growing, and he checks on it all the time! He's so proud of it! as he should be!!

We went for a 3 mile bike ride last night! It was alot of fun, and slade is doing so awesome on his bike! Brian is going to take his training wheels off soon! Broken arm, here we come! But broken bones aside, thats the only way he is going to learn, just stick him on there, and let him go. He balances it now pretty well, while we are riding he looks like he knows exactly what he is doing, and he is ready. We shall see! Sis LOVES bike rides, but this time, she got to swing for her first time in a "big" girl swing! she LOVED it!! normally when we pass the only playground around the perimeter with baby swings, she's asleep, but she wasn't this time, so we decided to test drive it! and it was a passing grade!
doing "tricks"
"and were off for our ride!"
all buckled in and ready to go!

Well thats all for now! just wanted to write a couple of updates! have a good week everyone!
